Bakestones Properties Snapped up as Second Phase Gets Underway

11.11.2015

Following the huge success of the first phase, work has now started on the second phase of the Bakestones, a stunning and exciting new development in the village of Delph in Saddleworth.

There are already nine properties reserved in phase 2, with further interest in many of the remaining plots.

Developed by Three60 Property Investors, the development boasts 46 stylish new homes including two, three and four bedroom properties in a traditional village setting. With few developments in the Saddleworth area at the moment, the site has provoked a great deal of interest from potential buyers.

The first phase, of 21 houses, has now been completed and sees property owners, many of them first time buyers, settling into their new homes.

Amongst them are Laura who’s 25 and Daniel aged 29 who are enjoying life in their new home.

Having recently moved back to the UK from Australia, the couple were looking to buy a home of their own and were recommended The Bakestones by their friends who had also bought a home at the development.

Using the Help to Buy equity loan scheme, Laura and Daniel were able to purchase a three bedroom semi on The Bakestones development with just a 5% deposit.

Laura said:

“We had looked at other developments in the area but we much preferred these homes as they had so much more space and character. We can’t wait to put our own stamp on it! Anyone thinking of buying at The Bakestones or using Help to Buy should definitely go for it.”

The second phase of 25 properties on the Bakestones development is now underway and are moving fast with nine already reserved.

Christine Smith from Ryder and Dutton who are managing the sales of the Bakestones development said:

“In this phase there are nine different house styles to choose from, including two bedroom homes in addition to the larger three and four bedroom properties which are perfect for first time buyers who can access the Help to Buy scheme. It’s an ideal location for commuting, has great transport links and is just a stroll away from the centre of Delph itself. We’re looking forward to seeing more people reserve these final plots!”
