The HCA has recently announced the national allocations for the 2015-18 Affordable Homes Programme, and Plus Dane received its full allocation as bid for in April this year. This will see the delivery of circa 397 additional new homes over the next 2 years.

Plus Dane’s bid compares favourably with other associations across the North West region, with us securing £23,532 per unit in grant, compared with a range of £19,000-£25,000 received by other providers.  Despite hoping to allocate 75% of the total £1.7b available, the HCA actually allocated just over half (£886m), and intend to allocate the remaining grant through a process of regular market engagement with associations as new schemes are brought forward.  A link to the HCA’s allocation page is here.

Claire Griffiths, Group Property Director said: "With a revised growth strategy, this allocation obviously ensures that we meet the targets that have been agreed as part of the Group’s current business plan.  It also further emphasises the excellent track record that Plus Dane has in providing affordable housing across the North West, and ensures that we are in a strong position to build upon this going forward."
