Plus Dane staff move into new Pioneer Point office

31.10.2014

Plus Dane staff in Ellesmere Port have moved into new premises at Pioneer Point Business Park. Employees from the organisation’s property investment and repairs teams have relocated from their former depot on Rossfield Road Industrial Estate due to its imminent demolition. Staff from IT and HR teams will also soon be moving there as well.

After searching several potential new offices in the area, the location and standard of facilities offered at Pioneer Point were chosen as the best solution.

The open plan office includes breakout rooms, a kitchen and dining area and state-of-the-art meeting rooms. There is also ample free parking for staff.

Plus Dane’s repairs and maintenance manager Peter Jones said: “Pioneer Point was the ideal choice for our requirements and once we visited it we knew it would be a superb base for our staff.

“It is sad to leave Rossfield Road and a big change, as many people have spent their whole careers working from there, but the move has been a fantastic opportunity to modernise our premises and integrate staff in a bright, fit-for-purpose new building.”

Plus Dane manages nearly 6,000 properties in Ellesmere Port and Neston on behalf of Cheshire West and Chester Council, as part of a £100m five year contract to provide housing services for tenants and leaseholders in the area. The move to Pioneer Point does not affect Plus Dane staff based at its town centre base on Civic Way, who moved there from the council offices in 2012.
